Its compact tank size combines economical buffer and gel consumption without compromising resolution and separation speed.
Each multi sub unit has a high quality injection moulded construction. Removable cassette style electrodes have thumb locators that click easily into position within a moulded lid. This ensures that electrophoresis is always performed in the correct orientation. We offer more gel trays and cones than any other electrophoresis gel tank manufacturer giving you full choice and flexibility.
At least two cones are supplied as standard with each multiSUB unit.
Two removable UV transparent gel trays eliminate the need for additional gel tanks or changes in application saving bench space, time and money.
Plug and go casting dams fit conveniently on the ends of each gel tray allowing for simple casting. This enables gels to be cast externally, allowing the tank to remain permanently in use if required.
UV transparent gel trays also serve as a convenient support for safe transportation of gels from the bench to the tank. Height adjustable cones provide full user control over well depth and sample volume and allow for easy loading.
They are colour coded according to thickness. Each cone may be reversed following casting to reveal a convenient loading template for single and multi channel pipettes.
Once the samples are loaded simply replace the asymmetric lid before connecting the tank to the power supply.
